This is all that remains of our
countdown chain. Our beloved Mamy and Papou are scheduled to arrive this coming Tuesday. Unfortunately circumstances in Europe from the volcano have closed down all airports in Northern Europe. It is unsure at this time whether or not planes will be flying by Tuesday. We have discussed this with the kids but they are still praying that the air will clear and Mamy and Papou will be here when the chain is gone. It is so sweet to see their innocent faith. They really believe that a miracle will happen. I hope so! But, if not, we'll learn from that too and I'm sure our grandparents will get here when they are supposed too.
*UPDATE* Roland heard from his parents today and they were able to change their travel plans for a week later. The kids understood that even though this wasn't the answer they were hoping for, it is nevertheless an answer to their prayers and they are glad they will still be able to see their grandparents.

Ok I have been soo bad at keeping up on blogs lately... but we are praying the kids will get to see their grandparents very soon!
