here are a few shots of the kitchen. We have a little bar which will be nice once we get stools but the counter-top is too high to be useful to me when I'm cooking most of the time. The stove-top has a lid so that it can be used as a counter-top as well.
above is from the other side of the bar looking in to the corner of the kitchen. The framed print is the only decoration I brought in my suitcase. It has sentimental value and plus it makes me happy to have one little decorated corner! :)
Same view only further back. The big thing on the wall back there is our water heater. It is actually an instant water-heater so we don't have to wait for it to re-fill. A nice perk!
in this picture you can see the bar on the left. straight ahead is the fridge and the washing machine (yep laundry is in the kitchen too!). to the right there is the sink, the small cabinet and all the way in the bottom right corner of the picture you can see the edge of the oven. You can also see the dishes and mess everywhere because we have nowhere to put them yet! :) Although it is a small (dare-I-say silly?) kitchen, I do like how light and bright it is. The sun comes in from the balcony doors and lights the whole area. I'll post some more pics in another post. Now go cook something in your big kitchen and count your blessings! :)

Oh my! It's cozy, bright and cute! I can see how it could be a little tricky for a family of 6!
Before I even read any of your information about the Kitchen, I thought...Look how bright and clean all the white gives it...and she has TILE...and she has a water heater that never runs out of hot water!
It looks so airy and light. Love it!
I think you should have participated in that travel channel show about finding an international home. That would have been sweet. :) And kind of fun for a family of 6!
It is so white and bright! I agree! I love it. How do your kids feel about the new place?
i love it! it's bright, light and cheery... what more could you want in a kitchen, right?
can't wait to see it!
xoxo
Very cute! Can't wait to see the whole place! Glad things seem to be going well!
I love how you have a framed picture. It's so cheerful and bright! Glad to hear that you're in your own place now.
Hi Amie, My name is Tera. I am Erin William's sister. I am so excited to see another Utahn living in Europe. It just makes me smile with my whole face.
I have been checking out your blog, and it brings back so many memories of my mission in France. Oh how I miss it! Tiny apartments and no clothes dryers. Yummy bread. What an adventure you must be having!
If you and your cute family are looking for an affordable vacation spot, I have plenty of room. And I love company! Plus, it looks like our kids may be similar in age. We will only be here for another year and a half, so come when you can.
I hope we get a chance to get to know each other.
Take care,
-Tera
PS I'm in Germany. :)
