Instead of all those silly fundraisers that force people to buy wrapping paper and chocolate that they really don't need, Eric's school has a 1 mile Fun Run where the kids collect pledges from their parents and grandparents. Families are also invited to run with their students. It's the only fundraiser of the year and we loved it. Eric was so excited to run with his Daddy and his Grandma. He was the second first-grader in the school to finish! I was so proud of him! Hooray for Eric!

I loved running with him! He is quite the little runner - I think he has some serious potential!! What a great way to raise money and promote fitness at the same time. Awesome.

Great job Eric! It was fun to hear Lydie and Emilie talk about the Fun Run today at Preschool. They thought it was so cool that they got to play on Eric's playground! What a fun family outing and fundraiser:)
Our school is doing that too! But I don't know if the families get to run with the kids. I hope so..that looks fun!
