It's official...

...the Christmas season is here! After getting most of the Christmas decorations up on Friday we decided to head downtown to see Temple Square on Saturday. It's been a great weekend full of Christmas excitement.
La saison de Noel est la. Apres avoir fini presque toutes les decorations de noel dans la maison, nous sommes alle a Temple Square au centre de Salt Lake. Ce fut un super weekend rempli d'excitement pour la noel.

Somehow, I didn't get enough pictures of all the family. I'll have to steal a few from my mom! We had a great day and have a lot to be thankful for!

Even though our team lost the big game we're still fans. We had a great time at grandma's house on Saturday making pizzas and cheering for the cougs!

We also got to celebrate my cute nephew's first birthday! It was so fun. We love Gregory!

Emilie Sue

Our sweet little Emilie Sue turned 4 today. We had such a fun day. Here are a few of the highlights:

• waking up to a pink "birthday door" (streamers)
• chocolate chip pancakes on the "You are special today" plate
• going to the Primary Program practice with Eric and all her friends
• decorating her own cake (with Daddy)
• spending the afternoon with Grandma and mommy doing "girls only" things like shopping at Ikea and getting her nails painted
• eating her favorite dinner of spaghetti
• sharing her birthday celebration with Grandpa
• opening presents (and playing with them!)

4 things we love about Emilie:

1. Her dimple when she smiles
2. The concern she shows for others (especially her siblings)
3. The way she sings while she colors
4. Her love of healthy eating

Birthday Eve...

I know this picture is a little dark, but I love the look on her face! We went to Disney on Ice today for Emilie's 4th Birthday (which is tomorrow) and she was amazed when all those "real princesses" came out on the ice! More birthday fun to come.....

Je sais que cette image est une petite obscure, mais j'aime le regard sur son visage ! Nous sommes allés à Disney sur la Glace aujourd'hui pour le quatrième Anniversaire d'Emilie (qui est demain) et elle a été stupéfiée quand tout ceux-là « les vraies princesses » sont sorti sur la glace ! It's coming....

I just love this time of year when we start counting our blessings and focusing on the Savior. I love the peace and kindness that seem to spread over people's hearts and the special spirit that can be felt. And I love, love, love the music!

What do you love about this time of year?

J'aime cette saison de l'année quand nous commençons à compter nos bénédictions et nous concentrons davantage sur le Sauveur. J'aime la paix et la bienveillance qui semblent s'étaler sur les coeurs des gens et l'esprit spécial qui peut être senti. Et j'aime, j'aime, j'aime la musique !

I've been tagged again!

This time it's a 4-4-4 tag where you find the 4th picture in the 4th folder and then tag 4 people. Here we go:

It's kind of ironic that this was the picture because it has Emma (on the right) who is the daughter of the cousin who tagged me! The other two darlings are my little Lydie and my other cousin's daughter Ella. These three girls are all very close in age and we have many pictures of the three of them all in a row (including when they were still in their mommies tummies)! Okay now I tag... Brittney (turn-about's fair play!), Andrea, Julie B, and Jessica T.
