just the two of us...
This past weekend Roland and I went on 2 real dates. I know, it's hard to believe, but it's true. On Friday, we were able to attend the "Tanner Gift of Music" concert. Roland's company sponsors it every couple of years and it brings the Utah Symphony and Tabernacle choir together in the Conference Center with some other invited guest artists. It is free to the public and OC Tanner employees are given the best seats in the house. Our friends, the Shawcrofts were able to get tickets as well so we doubled and went to dinner before the concert too. The whole evening was so relaxing and enjoyable (can't beat the tabernacle choir and symphony!)
And, on Saturday we were invited to go to the AWESOME BYU vs Wyoming smack-down game. GO COUGS! It was a great weekend and we are so grateful to my two sweet sisters for taking such great care of the kids and making it all possible! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

Two real dates in one weekend, that's awesome! I'm glad that you guys had fun.
My parents went to that concert on Saturday night and said it was AWESOME!!!!!! Glad you both could enjoy it too! Dates are so fun and so needed - yeah, two in one weekend!!!
It sounds almost like you had a weekend away. What a fun time! And how about that #11 Nationally Ranked Team? We need a little weekend get-away. We should start planning St. George. :)
That's so good that you could go on some dates. It seems so hard to get out, at least for us, and go on real dates. What company does Roland work for? My parents also went on Saturday and loved it. I am really glad you had such a great time.
He works for OC Tanner which is the company that sponsors the concert. It's a great company to work for. Especially when things like this come around. We were sitting right in the front just one section over from the First Presidency. So awesome!
My parents went to that event too! What a small world! My sis-in-law's mom works with your spouse at OC Tanner, so that is how they got tickets. They said it was awesome too!
Lucky you! You deserve it:)
That's AWESOME!
That's amazing! I don't remember the last time Tyler and I went on ONE real date! Sad!
